Positions
The Mysterium Committee is organized into positions and subcommittees.
The Committee delegates tasks to the smaller subcommittees, of which several Committee members are a part of. Each subcommittee generally has a coordinator, who serves as the point-person and organizer for that subcommittee. The subcommittees coordinate through Committee-wide meetings and the Secretary. Each member of the Mysterium Committee contributes to discussions equally; positions are assignments of responsibility, not authority.
Each member chooses their positions to conform to their specific interests and abilities.

The following are the assigned positions for the Mysterium 2008 planning period:
Facilitator [SR388] – The Facilitator keeps the committee on-task and on-vision, resolves disputes into consensus, and runs the main committee-wide meeting.
Secretary [] – The Secretary manages the agenda, meeting times, synchronizing members and records meetings into minutes.
Treasurer [CAGrayWolf] – The Treasurer’s responsibility is to manage the committee’s money, which is derived from donations and merchandising.
Community Emissary [CAGrayWolf] – The Community Emissary will communicate directly with the community through community forums and e-mail.
CyanWorlds Emissary [RAWA] - The Committee’s main contact with CyanWorlds.
Local Emissary [Keshwyn, Silmefea] – The Committee’s local contacts in Boston for Mysterium 2008.
Logistics Subcommittee – The Logistics Subcommittee is responsible for choosing the location of Mysterium, and arranging transportation, hotel details and any information related to the locality.

Events Subcommittee – The Events Subcommittee is responsible for planning the itinerary, presentations, contests and outings at the chosen locality.

Website Subcommittee – The Website Subcommittee’s job is to manage and maintain the Mysterium.net website.
